Legal Question in Family Law in New York

can a judge force your child into counseling without your consent? the decision was that I had to cooperate with the school and the social workers, but if I don't agree with what they say, they do it anyway.

A judge can order counseling, and you can appeal the decision if you have a legal or factual basis. You should check with a local attorney to see if you have grounds for an appeal.
