Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Leaving State

I have a 7 month old daughter that I would like to take out of state to visit a sick relative. The father of the child, which I am not married to, says he doesn't want me to. Can I legally do this without any problems?

Re: Leaving State

Yes, you can, unless the father of your daughter has any court orders that do not allow you to do so.
