Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I live in New york, the judge just ruled on the divorce. I left 2 years ago with my children because he would not pay mortgage and the father is now in the house we bought with his girlfriend. The stipulation states that he is financially responsible for the house. He has 2 years to take my name off title. Is there any way for me to fight this?

The time to fight was before the judge ruled. I assume you did not have an attorney, which as you can conclude now, was probably a mistake. Now, you can file for reconsideration or an appeal. However, it is very difficult to get a decision overturned unless there is a mistake of fact or law or the attorney abused his discretion. Consult with an attorney ASAP. You have a limited amount of time.
