Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I am married for 21 yrs. My husband wants to bring home 2 afghan hound dogs that are at his mother's house. I don't want those dogs in my home, I told him that before he bought the dogs. Do I have any legal rights in stopping those dogs from coming into my home? They are huge, it is too much work to care for them and I am afraid of them.

Probably not. He is half owner of the marital home. Short of using an order of protection, filing a lawsuit or a divorce to keep them out he has the right to bring them in.
