parentage between same sex parters

my daughter had a baby through art. insemation and add her parters name on birth cert. it was her parters married name. she is divorced but has kept her married name my concern is can the ex but any claims on the child and is this legal without use her madan name

There is nothing illegal about the partner keeping her married name and using it, even for the purposes of adding it the child's birth certificate. I don't quite understand what you mean about "claims on the child" though.
