Legal Question in Family Law in New York

my parents owe me money for my credit card and i don't live with them. I do keep my belongings in my old room and no one uses it. Can i sue my parents for that money even if i have my stff in y old room

Legally, one has nothing to do with the other unless you promised you would pay a storage fee. They can certainly demand that you remove your things from their house. You should consider moving your personal belongings out before you sue. Otherwise, you risk damage or loss.
