New york What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

My ex has told me that if I take a job that has me working out of town during the week then my daughter will not be with my wife and step kids who have grown very close. My ex and I have had a visitation order for a few years now. I have my daughter every week from wednesday night to Saturday night. What can I do?
