Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York
Company used my photo for ad without my permission
A local labor union is using my photograph to advertise its ''training and upgrading program'' for union members. This photo was taken at my college graduation, i did not give permission, nor was i a member of this union. The ad is posted in hospitals and nursing homes in NYC. Is this legal?

It depends upon who took the photograph, under what conditions, and what the intellectual property rights are in the photograph.
