Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York
Discrimination by airline flight attendants
On a recent international flight, my daughter and I were exposed to
inexcusable treatment by several flight attendants. In addition, and much
more serious in nature, I was witness to several instances of verbal abuse by
flight attendants towards foreign passengers on board. Due to my job, this
type of situation is intolerable and offensive to me. I notified the
airline's United States customer relations department of my complaints soon
after the incident, in hopes of receiving some sort of apology or explanation
of what transpired, but have received no reply. I then notified the customer
relations department in the foreign country in which the flight originated, and
received a brief apology, and instructions to wait for a reply from the US
office. Much time has passed, and still no acknowledgment,
My question is: is there a possibility for a case against the airline based on
the discriminatory comments made by the flight attendants and the
unacceptable treatment I and my daughter endured on that very long flight?
