separation and property

I am about to become separated and file for divorce from my husband. I also am trying to buy the house we are living in now. If I buy the house before we are legally divorced is my husband entitled to half the house?

Possibly. DISCUSS with your divorce attorney, any and everything that has to do with your life while you were married; and your immediate expectations, after divorce.
