Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York
Hello, I have been going through a visitation/custody/child support case with the mother of my child. So far we have received an order of visitaion and an order of support. Since then My son's mother and her husband have taken to facebook to disclose facts about the case and have also proceeded to defame my character. Is there any actions I can take to prevent this from continuing? thank you

If it is true defamation, as it is defined under the law, you can sue them.
Make sure you print the pages and save them for court.
If they aren't disparaging you in front of your son, the family court is not likely to get involved.
