Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York
can i apply and get a D1 visa if i am already in the USA? i came to the USA with J1 visa but right now its out of date. is there any chance to get D1 visa if i would find an employer in cruise jobs?

No, you cannot. You are out of status and not eligible for a change of status. As to visa, it has to be applied for abroad at the US consulate.
