Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

I entered my marriage in good faith, and my wife and her mother has been using me severely for money, they made me cosign thousands of dollars, and I am forced to repay every cent in order to keep at least fair credit. She has refused to add me to any of her bank accounts, or anything else, I have her on all of my stuff. It is now time to remove the conditional residence and she has moved out and back in with her mother...I have been able to get a hold of her on her phone or at her mom's house. Every bank account that we had together was forced closed because she pulled out all of the funds, without my knowledge. I made a desperate last attempt to add her to my only personal account I had left...but because she owes several banks monies, she is in chex system, and for that reason they refuse to add her. What are my options, my conditional residence expires on Jan 31, 2010?

You need to consult a lawyer in private. As the situation looks now, she is not living with you, you have no assets, no strong proof of a valid marriage.

Sorry to hear about your current situation.

I hope you have documentation with regard to this matter. This is clearly spousal abuse which the USCIS will take into consideration when you return for your next interview.

You must inform USCIS of what happened while keeping in mind the fact that they will be carrying out their own investigation into the matter.
