i have been in the process of trying to get my husband to the u.s for three years now...he was here illegally for over 10 yrs...left on his own free will....and after he left we were married in italy

Unfortunately, I-601 inadmissibility waivers filed at Rome District Office could take approximately 2 years. This is how long it was taking in 2009. Rome office is very busy because it processes waivers from many other European countries, not only Italy. For current processing times you can contact the Rome office.
