Assuming that you are not a conditional legal permanent resident, you must file Form I-90 to renew your green card. You can now file online, in addition to filing by mail (but you cannot file locally in Brooklyn). You can find the form and instructions here:

There is nowhere in Brooklyn for you to renew a green card.
As for the renewal of your green card, if it does not have an expiration date you do not have to renew it now.
If you do have an expiration date then what you now need to do is to go back to immigration and file form I-90. .
