Hi Sir, I a Furkat Azamov from Tajikistan. I am getting a tourist visa to travel to New York. When I arrive in New York how can I change tourist visa to woking visa? how much would it cost me and for how long it can be got? Thank you

You need to consult an immigration attorney before coming to the USA if your intent is to convert your tourist visa to a work visa. As a general rule, you are not allowed to work on a tourist visa. To change status to a work visa, one needs to have an education and be sponsored by an American employer. Oftentimes, it's easier to come to USA on a work visa rather than to expect a tourist visa to be changed to a work visa.
