Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

I am a United States Citizen and have petitioned for my husband and we are filling out the DS230. In this Form w/ regards to employment, there are certain timeframes where my husband doesnt recall where he was working or cannot remember the name of his employers in certain cases he remembers where meaning, the place/location but not the employer name and has the timeframes or in other timeframes he remembers the employer but not the exact dates. Can we just leave these blank? Or in cases where he remembers the date and location what do we fill in for employer --- is it okay to put something along the lines of employer name not available?

He has to provide all information required in DS-230 forms to the best of his knowledge.

I would need more information regarding your particular case before I can comment on it properly.

However, with regards to your husband's past employment issues, the immigration service has asked the question for a reason. They want to know if your husband owes the US government any back taxes, or if he has already paid his taxes using an ID number. The government also wants to know whether he was working under another person's name.

Your husband must, and I am stressing MUST, fill in the form without leaving any gaps because the information will be checked. Neither of you cannot just leave anything blank as you suggested because that will raise other questions.

I note you are asking what your husband should fill in for his employer. I cannot tell you anthing on that because as you know I do NOT know for whom he was working. He will have to go back to his past employers and get these companies names and correct addresses. They will want to know the time period as well.

Note also that you cannot put on the form that the employer's name is not available because the immigration service will want to know why?
