my wife's sister (a US citizen) petitioned for her and the visa is now available. Do I qualify for a greencard based on my wife's approved petition?

When the priority date is current based on the 4th family preference category: www.h1b1.com/sponsor.htm you and any children under 21 will be able to either adjust status or apply for immigrant visa at a U.S. Consulate abroad depending on your presence in the U.S. (if applicable) along with other factors such as country of chargeability, whether sec. 245(i) is relevant, etc.
