Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York
I have a 1 year lease for a small auto shop in a big building the landlord recently bought, there is 4 business in the building and there is no c/o, and the electric is not split with seprate meters, the hot water dont work, and the roof leaks, plus there is mold from it leaking for years, since there is no certificate of occupancy can I just leave since, does the landlord have to have one for me to run a business? my e mail is [email protected] Thank you!
