Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York
Mail Theft by Neighbors
There is a hostile situation in my building with the basement tenants controlling the heat, power and the mail. The landlord abandoned the brownstone a year ago and there is still currently no landlord. Mail has been delivered improperly to their outdoor mailbox instead of the locked and labeled boxes on the main floor. They do not relinquish wrongly received mail. In the recent past they have manipulated power and heat functions continually.

Re: Mail Theft by Neighbors
Call the police. Stealing someone else's mail is a crime.
