Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York
I rent within a coop. I have one parking spot. I would like another spot for my wife. We are both seniors. A neighbor recently said, in writing that we could use her spot when she is not here(she lives in LA,most of the year.) The board member in charge of garage spots said no. Also, the coop let an apt. owner have 2 garage spots, even though he only has one car.I feel the board is discriminating against me as I am a renter,not an owner.
