Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in New York

Dentist did not fulfill agreement, could I sue?

My dentist took over 4 months to do a routine crown which turned out to be not what I wanted and didn't match the size and shape of my original teeth. I spoke to other dental offices who have told me that 4 months is a ridiculous amount of time for a certified dentist to do such a routine procedure. I've spent countless times in his office, used my personal, sick, and vacation time for visits (at least 2-3 times a month). I've had to wear hideous temporaries which clearly are a different color than the rest of my teeth for four months and the embarrassment and stress from it has caused me much trauma. In the end, I cut off my visits with him and demanded a full refund as he did not fulfill his end of the transaction and I refused to allow him to put the permanent crown in my mouth. Now I have to start all over with a new dentist. Is there anything I can do to make up for him wasting the last 4 months of my life?

Yes take him to small claims court. You do not even need a lawyer you can do it yourself.
