Desire To Upgrade Military Discharge

In 1975 I was given a ''General Under Honorable Conditions'' discharge from the U.S. Air Force; I enlisted and served one year. I was a very young 18 with serious problems at home. This affected my mental state, and so, my performance. I am now 58 years of age. I have attended college and graduated with high honors. I am retired from the United States Postal Service where I worked my way up to the level of a Supervisor in charge of a facility and over 100 employees. In that capacity I had received numerous honors. I have seen my mom pass away from brain cancer, my father took his own life, and my dear grandmother murdered. What I am trying to say is that I have lived with the pain of my military failure for 40 years now. I believe that I have learned a lot about life and human nature since then. As I am on in years, I would like to have a positive resolution to this before I die (i.e. upgrade my ''General Under Honorable Conditions'' discharge to an ''Honorable'' Discharge.
