Legal Question in Military Law in New York
I recently enlisted in the NY National Guard. I stated that I had a knee problem during MEPS. In the week after enlisting it has flared up and has caused me significant pain. I know that I can't go to basic. I'll never make it and can suffer long lasting damage if I continue. I have not been to drill or anything yet. What can I do, how can I get out without hurting my recoed. I am a college grad and can find other opportunities. I thought this would be a great opportunity and it is. I could really use the advice. My main goal is to just move on with my life and seek other opportu nties that suite me.
