If your car is hit with a shopping cart at the supermarket, is the supermarket responsible for the damages?

Yes, I agree with Attorney Stern. Most time there are signs in the parking lot, you park at your own risk. Sometimes, the car owner is lucky enough to see the actual culprit (customer) who caused the cart to run into the vehicle. In those instances, the customer could be sued for negligence.
