Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York
If my insurance company paid a person injured in a car accident I was responsible for can they come after me again personally???

Not if they signed a general release.

Presumably, your insurance carrier required of the claimant a notarized general release before paying the settlement. That settles the case once and for all. Best, MEZ
