Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

I was recently injured at a major resort in Miami, FL. I was served a broken beer bottle which cut my lip causing bleeding. My case is documented with the hotel. I wanted to know if I had any case against the hotel. THanks.

Though it is unfortunate, it would not be worth your time and trouble to sue the hotel, because luckily, your injury is not severe. No lawyer worth his/her degree would take such a case, because it would cost significant time, and some money to bring it, but it would yield very little in the way of money damages at the end, even if the suit were successful.

You might do better asking the hotel to refund some money, or credit you on a future stay. If you're set on suing, you would likely have to do it in Small Claims Court.
