Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

Hello!

I have a house in Brooklyn (New York) and I want to make a hostel there in order to start profitable business. Are there any state laws that forbid this business?

If the property is zoned residential you cannot put a business in it especially such as a hostel with many municipal codes to conform to
