Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York
I live in New York State. I have been married to my husband for almost 16 years. He owned the home we live in for 2 years prior to our marriage. We were living together during that period. He never put me on the deed to the house. Is there anyway, after almost 16 years of marriage that my name can be added to our home's deed? Without him doing it himself...

Unfortunately, the house is a premarital asset. As a result, during the marriage, your husband has to add you to the deed.
