Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in New York

my friend is being threaten by her ex-boyfriend.

i have this friend, she is 18 and just broke up with her boyfriend.he had found out that while they were dating that she had kissed another person that he in fact hated.he has now threatened her saying that he will put naked pictures of her online,and send them to her family and church. he tells her that the only way for him not to do this is if she pays him $200. he tells her that no one will know it is him because he will just go to a wireless computer and post them through there. being the fact that pornagraphy is illegal, is 18 still considered ''child pornagraphy,'' and taking into consideration that this guy wants to be a NYS trooper, will this hurt his chances? what are the ways in which my friend should handle this issue?

You should have her contact the district attorney or local police department. This could be extortion. She should also report it to the NY State Police. He should not be a trooper.
