Re: court appearance

Practicing north of the city is different . An attorney can appear for your son with a waiver and plead, or consent to a plea. Only a trial will involve your son.

Good Luck

Kids and traffic violations - just part of being a parent!

This is not a problem. He must contact the court and request a postponement. This must be done in writing. It is best to give a reason why the postponement is necessary and suggest several dates for the new trial.

There is a very high probability the court will grant his request. You are welcome to a consultation at no fee at my offices at 42 west 44th st., NY,NY. Please call for an appointment first. (646) 591-5786

Re: court appearance

You should call the court where the ticket will be heard, but it is likely that your son will have to appear.

It is in the discretion of the Judge. What I would you suggest is to hire an attorney to request an adjournment or have the attorney proceed without your son there.
