debt responsibility

If my husband passes away without a will and I am not listed on the deed of the house, am I responsible for his debt that I have not co-signed. I realize the house would be sold to pay of the mortgage and any debt he has, but there will probably be debt left after that.

You are not responsible for the payment of any debts that you did not sign for.
