If the will has been submitted to the Surrogate for probate, it is on file in the Surrogate's Court in the County in which the decedent resided at the time of death. If you have a legitimate belief that you are entitled to benefits under the will then you should communicate with members of the family closest to the decedent.

I agree with Norman. A Will is a public document so anyone can view it. Go to the Surrogate's Office where it was probated and you can read it. For a small fee they can send you a copy.

You probate the estate if no one else has.
