Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

Does NY surrogates court serve for compulsory accounting.

My parents passed away three years ago. The excutrix has not distributed the assets of the will. i want to file for a final accounting. My questiosn is does the courts serve the excutrix who lives upstate? If they do not must i retain the processes company? thank you

You, not the Court, are responsible to serve the papers in accordance with the Citation.

Speak to the accounting clerk, who will be most helpful.
