Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York
Both parents died 4 years ago. My mother in a nursing home on medicaid. Two years ago an insurance settlement for 13k was distributed by me through the court system among my three siblings. The nursing home is sueing me for half. Am i responsible.

Not enough facts are presented. What was the insurance settlement based on? If it involved Mom in any way, this could be a valid claim.
