Re: power of attorney

The holder of a Power of Attorney, may, but is not obliged to, do things, sign papers or perform acts in accordance with the instructions received from the signer of the poa. The duration can be limited by the terms of the poa and it always terminates on death.

After termination of the poa the holder may be required to account for the things done pursuant to the poa.

The holder of the poa is merely the agent to carry out the wishes of the signer.
