Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

How do I protect my interest to get paid my back childsupport out of the decease

My children's dad was killed in a auto/pedestrian accident. A settlement is in the estate. How can I make sure I get paid my back owed child support in which a judgment with interest has been filed? Can the judge pardon the debts owed by the deceased and if so how? And how can I protect my interest.

You have posted this question numerous times and it probably was rejected by the attorneys because of the lack of material facts.

The support support payments were a personal obligation of the dad. Payment of the child support can only be made out of the assets in his estate. No assets, no payment.

You should consider retaining a lawyer.
