Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

Ratification of a contract by a trust

Can an agreement regarding property rights be ratified by a trust if the trust is the owner of the property but not a signature on the contract? The contacrt was signed by a beneficiary of the trust who has no legal rights to the property.
