Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

If you already received ten thousand, was the Will giving you that already probated? If so, has anyone contested the filing? If not, you can keep the money. On the other hand, has anyone submitted another Will and, if so, what does it provide? If you think the "missing" Will gave you more, I have not seen the probated one nor read what it says about this, or what it may say about contests. This gets very complicated, especially if you cannot locate the other Will, and it could be very costly to both locate it and contest it. You might advertise to see if anyone has another original. This could take time and produce no results and you have a limited amount of time to file a contest.
