Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

revocation clause

In my late husband's will there is a clause revoking all other wills. I know that he made a will while he lived in spain some years ago - does the revocation clause make the spanish will invalid?

Re: revocation clause

A clause in a valid Will which revokes all prior Wills is effective and does what it says; the prior Wills are disregarded.

In your case, the later Will revokes the Will signed in Spain.
