Sole distributee

What is the paper work needed to take to the court for a sole distributee? I was told I need a special form and affadavites.

If there is a Will, the process is to Probate the Will.

If there is no Will, then Administration is the route.

Papers are required in all events.

The clerk at the Surrogate's Court will generally be most helpful.
