Does a temporary Executor have the right to act as a Director or officer of a corporation in the place of the decedent? (In NY specifically)

No one has the right to serve as a director or officer of a Corporation. The directors are elected by the shareholders and the officers are appointed by the directors. Service as a temporary executor would not make a person ineligible to serve as a director or officer.
