Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

Hello, my uncle, blood relative, died before his wife died. The wife died in 1992. They had one child that died before they did. The wife has no blood relatives remaining. There was no will. My question is: Does my uncle's blood relatives have any claim to the estate or does the state of New York get all of the money from the estate since the wife has no remaining blood relatives?

Thank you for your assistance.

The estate goes to the wife's heirs, or, if none, to the NYS Comptroller's office of unclaimed funds.
