Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

I have a will that was done in the state of Arkansas. I now live in NY. Is my present will valid in NY state?

The Will is valid in New York provided it was validly executed pursuant to the laws of Arkansas.

While I agree with Norman, there might be some difficulty in having it probated since some notary language may be different from State to State. My suggestion is either to do a new Will i8n NY, or replublish the old one by Codicil, using current NY language.
