Re: hurt at work
It is difficult to tell you whether you will get "more" if you hire a lawyer. Clearly the lawyer will get more if you hire him. Which puts me as a lawyer in a difficult spot in answering that kind of question. Most lawyers would not be in the business if they could not get paid. The more important question is really: "what are the problems I am likely to face in getting a fair deal from the system." The insurance industry has a lot of very competent and sometimes incompetent people who really want to make sure you do not get a fair result. All I can really tell you is that hiring an attorney will dramatically cut down on a lot of the possible pitfalls or roadblocks you are likely to encounter on your way toward getting a fair result.
