Re: workers compensation

Quitting an employment does not terminate your "coverage." Coverage is determined on the day of your injury. However, by quitting your job, for reasons unrelated to your injury, the Compensation Carrier may have a defense that you voluntarily withdrew from the labor market. In other words, that your injury is not the reason you quit, it was for other reasons for example personal, financial or something like that.

Re: workers compensation

Depends why you quit. Were you still totally disabled? Is your case amenable to schedule?

You need to consult with a local comp attorney. You may be walking into an unrelated wage loss defense and lose your benefits.
