Legal Question in Banking Law in North Carolina

liability release

My wife is the treasurer at a small church, two cards were issued on the operating account, one to my wife and one to another lady. The other lady can not provide receipts for the expenses on her card. What do we need to keep my wife out of legal trouble???

Re: liability release

Immediately have the Board of Elders (Deacons etc) yank the other lady's card and require an accounting for all charges.

Then have your wife do an.Affidavit of Non-liability for those charges.
