Legal Question in Criminal Law in North Carolina
My information have been compromised on Amazon. Today I received a package with my address, but someone else name. This is called a 'brushing scam' carried out by one of Amazon's sellers. Can I sue Amazon? What other information do the Crooks have?

Unless you are certain, your information could have been compromised other than from Amazon. Can you sue Amazon? Sure but you have to know that is a complete waste of time because you don't have the funds to even make them notice you let alone win and it would cost you more to sue than what you lost.. What you can do is secure your information and notify Amazon and ask or a refund. You are by law not required to return the merchandise and if you do return it, don't do it on your own dime and don't do it before you get a refund. Best of luck.
