Legal Question in Criminal Law in North Carolina
shoplifting
my 17yr old was caught shoplifting. it was his first offense and the merchandise was recovered. my question is do i need to hire a lawyer or do i just handle it myself

I would not even consider allowing my son to go into Court without a lawyer for a misdemeanor offense...especially one that involves moral turpitude and would effect his ability to get employment
