Legal Question in Criminal Law in North Carolina

My son was arrested. I looked his charges up online. My first request stated 2 felony and 1 misdmenor. When rechecking I can now only find the misdemenor. He has not been to court except to get his court appointed attorney. Since the charges are not showing under public records does that mean they are no longer charging him with the felony??

no...the case is probably going to the grand jury...you need to discuss this with the appt'd attorney or get a 2nd opinion...most attorneys don't charge for a 2nd opinion as long as you get a copy of the file materials or YOU are the one asking the questions...if you are too far from Charlotte, then I could give you some names in your area
